Swedish Virtual Heritage School

This was the first edition of the Swedish Virtual Heritage School; this event has been strongly focused in analysing and exploring the key factors that define a cultural experience. The School was part of the VIRTUAL HERITAGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PROGRAM.  The Swedish Virtual Heritage School has been mainly focused on what are the key factors to successfully design a virtual museum. During the course several lecturers from different research areas have analysed and presented different aspects of this topic, providing a complete overview of the subject: the use of storytelling techniques for the communication of virtual contents, the potentialities of new communication devices and their use inside museums, the new tools for the digitalization of material information.

Period: from June 11th to June 15th 2012.

Duration: 5 days.
