Italian Virtual Heritage School

Italian Virtual Heritage School: Virtual Archaeology

It was the 4TH ITALIAN SCHOOL OF VIRTUAL ARCHAEOLGY. This year the School was organised by CNR ITABC and CNR ISTI and included COMPUTER GRAPHICS. It was organised in cooperation with CINECA and University of Padova. It's origins are from CNR ITABC and University of Padova "Virtual Archaeology" national school (2009-2011). From 2011 the School is part of  the VIRTUAL HERITAGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PROGRAM organized by the European Project V-MUST.NET , that connects 5 different national schools (UK; Italy;  Cyprus; Sweden; Germany).  The school introduced participants to various fields related to landscape reconstruction, to the methodologies and technological tools dedicated to acquisition, processing and integration in spatial real-time or computer graphic systems. The approach was based on 3 key factors: 1) intensive lectures from acquisition on the field to VR development; 2) intensive exchange for students and teachers leaving in the same environment; 3) Multidisciplinary approach.
