
Virtual Heritage School on Digital Cultural Heritage: 3D documentation, imaging technologies and knowledge repositories. The workshop focused on advanced technologies applied to Cultural Heritage (CH) for the preservation and dissemination of results, through education and training in information and communication technologies. It has been focused on technologies for digital data acquisition (photogrammetry, laser scanning and Polynomial Texture Mapping), the use of open-source software for data post-processing and metadata standards and knowledge management. Theoretical aspects were complemented with field-work activities at archaeological sites.
